The objective is part of the exercise
Train a forced mate, a move from a selected engine line, maintaining a minimum advantage, or playing a position to its conclusion. Each objective tests a different part of calculation and decision-making.
Use positions from your own games
The most useful exercises often begin with something you missed. Paste a FEN from game review, set the side to move, and check whether you can recognise the idea next time without assistance.
Controlled hints and completion rules
The generator lets you define available help and the finish condition. Completing the task therefore represents the intended work rather than stumbling onto one move after an unlimited number of attempts.
From one position to a repeatable exercise
- Paste a valid FEN or place the pieces and choose the side to move.
- Select an objective that matches the skill you want to improve and decide which hints are allowed.
- Play the attempt as a real position, then compare your decisions with the engine lines after it ends.
Public version boundaries
Guests can prepare a position and test the task flow. Publishing personal material, permanent statistics, and attaching exercises to a profile require sign-in because those features store user data.
